Hosting & security

Security and reliability. Always. Our marketing communications environment contains confidential business information and client and/or employee details. Our clients are free to arrange hosting of the platform themselves. However, Capital ID can manage this too. We have a reliable partnership with global hosting partner Rackspace.

There are various ways to set up the hosting of the ID Manager platform. All our clients are free to use the services of their trusted IT partner or department. Alternatively, Capital ID can take this out of the client’s hands and provide a hosting solution in cooperation with our global hosting partner Rackspace.

The ID Manager software runs on Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server.

On premise

The ID Manager platform can also be set up on the client’s own servers within their own IT environment. That makes the client responsible for the platform’s hosting. You can either set up the server yourself or have us do it for you.

Optional:

  • ID Manager application updates and security patches

Shared hosting

Our shared hosting service allows multiple clients to use the same server. For clients with a limited number of users, modest data storage requirements and a certain set of solutions, this is an excellent and affordable hosting solution. It goes without saying that the security is up to par. However, there are limitations regarding the implementation of highly specific wishes and demands.

What is included:

  • Server(s) hardware lease
  • Server application management (updates and security patches)
  • Monitoring of availability and file server capacity
  • Server back-ups

Dedicated hosting

With our dedicated hosting service, you will get one or multiple servers of your own. The advantage of this method is that the performance can be optimally finetuned and that specific wishes and requirements pertaining to security (e.g. firewalls) can be implemented.

What is included:

  • Server(s) hardware lease
  • Server application management (updates and security patches)
  • Monitoring of availability and file server capacity
  • Server back-ups
